The musicians of the Orchestra, as well as the artists of the Lyon Opera Choir, come together for a series of chamber music concerts. A perfect opportunity to discover works in a more intimate setting, in three venues that embody Lyon's rich and diverse cultural landscape: the Musée Gadagne, the Salle Molière, and the Lyon Opera Amphi.
Introductory
The artists of the Lyon Opera Chorus perform works rooted in Polish traditions and Russian Orthodox music. The programme includes works by Stanisław Moniuszko, acclaimed composer of the opera The Haunted Castle, as well as the world-renowned Frédéric Chopin, born in Warsaw and later based in France, and Stanisław Niewiadomski, conductor, educator, and musician from the same regions.
