Wheelchair spaces

Bookings for wheelchair spaces can be made, subject to availability, via the box office on 04 69 85 54 54.

Direct access by car

Close to the opera house, the Opéra (via Place Tolozan) and Terreaux (Rue d'Algérie) car parks both have wheelchair access (height 1.90m).

Take the lift

To access the Amphi, Grand Foyer, stalls or 4th, 5th and 6th level balconies directly, lifts are available on either side of the entrance.

At the box office

The opera house provides additional amplification for those requiring hearing assistance or who use a hearing aid at the box office to facilitate contact with the bookings team.

In the main auditorium / Amphi

Our hearing-loop system gives an improved user experience throughout the main auditorium and the Amphi. Please request individual receivers and headphones (available upon presentation of proof of identity) at the cloakroom before the performance.

For visits to the Lyon Opera House

The Lyon Opera House has 17 personal audio guides available for visitors. Again, please help us to ensure a successful visit by letting us know your requirements when making your booking. To find out more, contact one of our ticket sales agents or send us an email at acces@opera-lyon.com

Visitors with assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are allowed in all our performance spaces. For further information, please contact the box office to find the ideal seat.
