French-Mexican soprano Déborah Salazar was awarded the First Prize at the International Competition of Belcanto Vincenzo Bellini and won several prizes at the Met’s Laffont Competition (New York). She sung the parts of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart) at the Saint-Étienne Opera, Violetta in La Traviata (Verdi) at the Bordeaux National Opera, and Clarice in Il mondo della luna (Haydn) at the Metz Opera. This season, enjoy her performance as Nicoletta in The Love for Three Oranges (Prokofiev) and the Raven in Rimsky-Korsakov’s* May Night*.
