German bass-baritone David Rother started out as a child performer as the First Boy in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart) at the Staatsoper Berlin, the Semperoper in Dresden and the Paris Opera. Last season, he sung the parts of Maik in Tschick (Ludger Vollmer) at the Rostock Opera House, and the Chemist and Mr Roosevelt in The Bat Bomb (Alexander R. Schweiß) at the Freiburg Opera House. This season, enjoy his performance as the Herald in Prokofiev’s Love for Three Oranges.
