Courses during the school holidays
The Opéra de Lyon has launched a digital adventure, in association with the group Le Matrice. This team of six artists is offering to initiate you into the operatic art and the digital arts through practice. Play with the voice, sounds, images and light, and discover how artists transform Wiimotes, Kinects and computers into creative tools. 5 afternoons to become initiated into the operatic art and the digital arts through practice. Play with the voice, sounds, images and light! On the programme:
• Construction of sonic set-ups (everyday objects, impactors/motors, recording sounds in the environment…).
• Construction of image set-ups (shadow puppets, microscopes cameras, video feedback, camera captures)
• Discovery of the tools used for digital creation (software, peripherals, onboard electronics).
A course accessible to everyone: no need to be an IT crack or a violin virtuoso to make the most of the course and have fun*!

* But the little Mozarts and mini Steve Jobs are welcome as well!
