This initiative, established between the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and the Lyon Opera, is part of the cultural development policy of the Lyon Opera. It offers schools in the region the opportunity to access performances and behind-the-scenes experiences. For the 2022-2023 season, 1800 seats are available for opera and ballet performances.

A mediation program is offered to classes participating in the initiative to enhance the experience and support teachers and students:

• Worshops around the works for teachers
• Theater and workshops tours
• Meetings with artists and technicians

Thus, attending the opera is facilitated, accessible, and each class can fully engage with it before the performance.
