Born in South Korea, dancer Yeonjae Jeong began her training in Korea at the Hanbti Academy, before continuing at the Mannheim College of Music and Art. During her training, she performed at the Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe, notably interpreting John Cranko's repertoire. She joined the Zurich Junior Ballet, then the Nuremberg Staatstheater in 2018 and the Augsburg Staatstheater in 2021, where she danced pieces by Goyo Montero, Douglas Lee, Johan Inger and Christian Spuck, among others. She joins the Opéra national du Rhin ballet under the direction of Bruno Bouché, dancing in Chaplin by Mario Schröder, Muse Paradox by Brett Fukuda, Pour le reste by Bruno Bouché, Poussière de terre by Alba Castillo, Trio and Enemy in the Figure by William Forsythe. She joined the Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon in October 2025.
