Todd Baker was born in Dallas, Texas, where he trained at Booker T. Washington HSPVA and Dance Industry PAC. In 2017, he was named a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts and began his training at The Juilliard School. He joined the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company in 2021, working under the direction of Jacopo Godani and later Ioannis Mandafounis. Todd has performed works by Crystal Pite, Ohad Naharin, and Marco Goecke, and participated in new creations by William Forsythe and Thomas Hauert. He joined the Opéra de Lyon in October 2025.
