Mariana Vargas is an American Mexican dancer who began her training at the age of four in Southern California dancing Mexican Ballet Folklorico dance. She went on to dance in conservatories Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California and American Ballet Theatre William J Gillespie School in Costa Mesa, California graduating in 2021. From there she continued her professional training attending a contemporary program in Pisa, Italy with ImPerfect Dancers Company led by Walter Matteini and Ina Broeckx. She was given the opportunity to join the main company shortly after in 2022, doing many’s works of Walter Matteini including William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet and Hamlet. She joined the ballet of the Lyon Opera in 2026.
