Marge Hendrick

Marge trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Following her Graduation Performance in 2012, she was offered a position with Scottish Ballet. She was promoted to Soloist in 2016 and to Principal in 2019. In 2020, she had the opportunity to guest with Ballet West in Salt Lake City, performing in Giselle and Rubies. Alongside her performances in major classical roles, Marge has danced works by neo-classical and contemporary choreographers such as David Dawson, Crystal Pite, Kenneth MacMillan, Helen Pickett, and Matthew Bourne. Two roles have particularly defined her career: Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, for which she was nominated for the National Dance Awards, and Elisabeth Proctor in The Crucible by Helen Pickett, her final role with Scottish Ballet before joining the Opéra de Lyon in 2025.
