Tyler Galster began performing at the age of seven. He acted and sang before movement became a major part of his life. He graduated from the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in New York in 2007. He began his professional career with Amercian Ballet Theatre and after with Pennsylvania Ballet. Keen to broaden his repertoire, he joined Leipzig Ballet in 2010. In 2013, he was named Dancer of the Year by Tanz Das Jahrbuch magazine. He holds a French state diploma as a classical dance teacher and is a certified teacher in the American Ballet Theatre's National Training Curriculum. He joined the Ballet de l'Opéra de Lyon in 2015.
