Are you ready to explore the rabbit warren of rooms and corridors backstage at a major artistic venue?
Explore the 10 floors of this unique building, one of the first major contemporary renovations carried out by architect Jean Nouvel in 1993.
Discover the astonishing story of this architectural transformation as you weave your way through the spaces that allow today’s dancers, singers and musicians to create new opera, dance and concert productions every day...
Make an appointment today with one of the Lyon Opera House guides!
The visits are designed for a maximum of 22 people
Practical information :
The visit is on foot, so participants need to be fit enough to go up and down the building’s many floors. For this reason, please let us know how many people in your group have reduced mobility when you make your booking. People who are unable to take the stairs and who have not notified us beforehand will not be able to take the tour.

Hearing problems :
Do you use a hearing aid or do you need help with your hearing? The Lyon Opera House has 17 personal audio guides available for visitors. Again, please help us to ensure a successful visit by letting us know your requirements when making your booking.
