Motor disabilities and wheelchairs

There are seats reserved for wheelchair users.
Please contact our booking agents up to 10 days before the show to make a reservation. 

Direct access by car
The car parks for the Opera (access via Place Tolozan) and Terreaux (access via Rue d'Algérie) are available for wheelchairs (height 1.90m). 

Take the lift
To access the Amphi, Grand Foyer, stalls or 4th, 5th and 6th level balconies directly, lifts are available on either side of the entrance.

Hearing problems :
Do you use a hearing aid or do you need help with your hearing? The Lyon Opera House has 17 personal audio guides available for visitors. Again, please help us to ensure a successful visit by letting us know your requirements when making your booking.

At the ticket office
For the hearing impaired and those who use a hearing aid, the Opera provides additional amplification at its ticket office to facilitate contact with the bookings team.
 
In the main auditorium / Amphi  
Our induction loop system is designed to ensure a better audio experience throughout our performance spaces. Those wishing to use this system should request individual magnetic loops from the cloakroom, available before each show on presentation of ID. 

For visits to the Opéra de Lyon
The Lyon Opera House has 17 personal audio guides available for visitors. Again, please help us to ensure a successful visit by letting us know your requirements when making your booking.

The Visually Impaired
Blind and visually impaired people with guide dogs are welcome at the Opera, and guide dogs are allowed in all our performance spaces. For further information, please contact our ticket office to find the ideal seat.
